Our Story

Jerry and Dawn Gull are the proud owners of Watch & Clock Junction of Johnston, Iowa, and the couple have been offering high-quality repairs and services to their community members since 1989. Jerry was originally inspired to open his own shop specializing in watches and clocks after attending Gem City College, where he received his formal training in watch and clock making. After gaining experience at an established clock shop in the area, Jerry set out on his own to build a name for himself through Watch & Clock Junction.

With over 30 years in the business, we specialize in watch sales, watch accessories, and clock services. We offer free verbal estimates, watch appraisals, house calls for grandfather clocks, and deals, such as buy 5 watch batteries and get the 6th one free. Whether you have a vintage collection that needs attention or you’re simply looking to pick out a watch for a one-time, special occasion, we have something to offer for everyone!

As the only watch and clock focused business in the area, our selection is unmatched. New to the city. Had a retirement watch that had the hands a bit off of telling the time correctly. Dropped it off and got a quote right away. Very reasonably priced. 36 hours later, watch was fixed. Tech explained what he did and a couple of extras he did to insure a long life. Bill was the initial quote plus tax. Will be my go-to place for watch repair. And when the time comes for the grandfather clock we have, they'll be making the house call. Glad to have made new friends with them.

I have a very old Seiko kinetic watch that was beginning to have issues. Seiko no longer makes kinetic watches anymore and the parts mine needed are showing back ordered. Tried several shops but to no avail. Came here by recommendation and found the staff to be courteous and knowledgeable. I eventually traded in my Seiko for a Citizen. Would definitely recommend anyone to come here first for repairs or to get another watch.
